
Groups
Ongoing groups offer a space to feel held within community and feel less alone in our self-reflection and self-development. There is something deeply nourishing about meeting the same people regularly over months or years, something incredibly validating about witnessing and being witnessed, and something vital about that connection and support.
Joining a group takes courage and a particular mix of strength and vulnerability in being willing to show up authentically, but the effort is well worth it. Some of the most transformative processes of my own life have come about thanks to working in groups, and I have participated in and facilitated ongoing groups for nearly two decades.
Reflect & Connect
I currently run monthly groups offering the chance to step back, pause and take the space to reflect on where you are right now, in the context of a small, supportive group. Groups are capped at six participants. We meet on Zoom for 60-90 minutes. Before each meeting, I share a prompt for reflection.
Examples of recent prompts:
Cast your mind back to the small things that have influenced your year: small moments, habits or encounters that provided meaning or satisfaction, perhaps in ways that surprised you.
How can you stay with what is, and seek to simply be with it and understand it, rather than move to change or fix it straight away?
FAQs
Each session begins with a guided grounding exercise using breath and body awareness. There is then space for everyone to check in, sharing what is foreground in life for them in the present moment. This opportunity to stop, reflect and be witnessed can be very powerful. We usually also take some time together to consider a reflection-prompt and share our thoughts and feelings about it.
Reflect & Connect groups are for anyone who would value a supportive and structured space to meet regularly in community, and to pause and reflect on where they are in their life.
Reflect & Connect sessions meet online monthly. Each session lasts 60 - 90 minutes. The suggested cost per term (four sessions) is £100, but this can be more or less depending on ability to pay.
I ask for a minimum commitment of one term (four sessions) to support participants’ commitment and build a sense of continuity and connection.
