Substack
A Written Project of Reflection and Connection
I write regularly about navigating the trials, joys and contradictions of the inherently messy business that is life, a project that evolved after I moved to Melbourne for a sabbatical year.
A Note of Caution relevant to anyone reading this with a view to working with me therapeutically:
Knowing personal details about your therapist is unusual and can pose challenges. If you feel concern that this might not be helpful, please refrain from reading my work; or if the very fact of me sharing feels uncomfortable for you, I may not be the best fit therapist for you.
Many readers have shared an appreciation of my writing, however, including that they feel less alone in their own lives, having read my reflections on living mine. Links to some recent posts are below, and you can visit my Substack site.

When I read your thoughts and reflections on your life it takes me out of a self-centred process entirely focussed on my journey and healing and turns it into community.
Your writing on Substack is entertaining and serious and demonstrates the benefits of some ways of thinking and coping with oneself, but without needing to reveal too much. I like it.
It is helpful and therapeutic both, to hear your different challenges and your thoughtful approaches to addressing them, all in good humour, at least as far as your writing portrays them!
I think hearing your lived experience is really refreshing and reassuring and makes it feel less difficult doing all the work and figuring out myself. I feel more held.
